today is my first day back at work.
I'm not going to try and explain
all the emotions I am am feeling today
but I know so many of you
that read Amelia's blog have already braved
your first day back at work.
You know exactly where I am at,
you've been there before.
So please, if you would,
say a little prayer for me today.
"Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. "Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

Praying Melissa! Hope your day goes well - as well as possible anyway.
I'm praying!! I'm scared of that day for myself!!! Knowing that the Lord will carry you and sustain you today. Psalm 23 is what I'm praying over you right now.

Dear Melissa,
I am praying for you today as you step through a another first in your life after Amelia's short life here in this world but now a new life for her and a new life for you. You will never be the same but God will hold you through it all even when you don't think you could make it through.
Our son Seth would have been 21 this year and I know that in his brief life here on earth God taught me so much and it has had a lasting change on my life and faith. May you see God today and may He hold you close now and everyday.
